paridhi ji, not all veggies are Brahmins, there are some other castes & religions who are veggies as well. For example, Jains don't eat non-veg. Not all Brahmins are veggies either, I had a friend in Chennai, he loved sea food his mother used to boast about his sea food interest when ever I used to meet her. The simple logic he used to say to me was, I am a Brahmin by heart, non-Brahmin by appetite

That's not a prob meenu ji if you can bare the dishes smell. It will be only a prob only if u can't bare the non-veg smell.

You can always tell ur friends, doston I can't eat non-veg but I can surely share your veg dishes

SACHIV JI... u r rite... not all veggies are BRAHMINS... BRAHMAN woh hota hai jo DIL KE SAAF HO... AAP KE BATH BILKUL SAHI HAI... but i'm a BRAHMIN.... PARI JI knws abt it as i had mentioned abt it in one of my posts...

n SACHIV JI.. thanks for giving me a solution... n i dont mind anyone having non veg sitting beside me... but i worry abt my frnds who ll be worried wen i have some veg dishes( or i dint have anything with them) wen they enjoy BIRIYANI n all... they say that now a days its common that even BRAHMINS hav NON VEG food without the knwledge of their home... but i'm not like dat... that's ma prob.. n their prob too...

Yep u r rite about Brahmins eating non-veg. I have some muslim friends who regularly eat beef on weekends, they usually complain to me that - "Because of these Brahmins beef prices are going up. Isn't it a fact that Hindus don't eat beef, then how come who are veggies by tradition are taking in beef ?" My usual answer is just keeping mum & smiling off, I can't reply like my Appetite friend rite

As far as I am concerned, I don't give a damn about the castes or religions, don't mind visiting temples/churches/mosques/gurudwara/jain temple/buddhist temples .... . I'm a veggie by appetite as well () .
