Mera Naam Karegi Roshan at the Punjabi Junktion Mera Naam Karegi Roshan is the story of a 20-year-old girl Reet (played by Sana Shaikh) who idolises Lord Ram and holds her father's pride high even after his death. Reet lives in Sammanpur, a small town which is a few km away from Ayodhya. She is the daughter of Landlord Thakur Veer Pratap Singh who is worshipped as a father figure much like Raja Dashrath.
