Kanwarjit Paintal to enter Pratigya 
Renowned comic actor Kanwarjit Paintal, who is popularly known as Paintal in the world of media, has a special talent to tickle the funny bone. The actor has entertained viewers for decades and has featured in films like Satte Pe Satta, Rafoo Chakkar, Jawani Diwani, amongst others. Now he is making an entry in SpellBound Productions and Walkwater Media’s popular daily soap, Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya on Star Plus.
In the show, Ammaji (Asmitaa Sharma) is back in the Thakur Niwas which has infused a much needed drama in the plot. Furthermore, Pratigya (Pooja Gor) has taken the entire blame on her for not being able to give birth to a child. However, the truth is that her husband Krishna (Arhaan Behl) is impotent and cannot impregnate her.
Now, Paintal will play the role of Acharyaji. Sajjan Singh (Anupam Shyam) will invite him to the Thakur Niwas to solve the problem of Pratigya not having a child, informs a source.
Tellychakkar.com called up Paintal and this is what he had to say, “Yes, I have been approached for the role but I can’t comment anything on my character.”
He will commence shooting from tomorrow (4 February 2012).
