Amrapali Gupta's upcoming show Imtihaan



Amrapali Gupta, who is currently seen as Sonali in Neem Neem Shahad Shahad on Sahara One, is surely happy. This show is slated to go off air on 10 February 2012 and the immediate next day her new show will go on air, Imtihaan on 11 February 2012 on Doordarshan.

Imtihaan is a story of two girls who share every little happening in their lives with each other in spite of staying far away. Amrapali will be seen as Seema who stays in India while the other girl Bharti will be in Canada.

According to a source, the story will start from Seema’s mother wanting her to get married, while Seema herself will want to do other things in life. However, she will end up getting married to a Canada return boy. In fact, this guy will turn out to be gay. This is where her journey will begin; she will fight to get a divorce and live life on her own terms.

We spoke to Amrapali, who confirmed the same. Apart from Amrapali, Rajeev Verma, Rohini Hattangadi and Nishigandha will also be seen playing important characters on this show. The show will be aired at 10:30 pm every Saturday and Sunday.
